Start your day with a visit to Split’s bustling Green and Fish Markets at 09:00 AM. Here, you will get a chance to explore the vibrant stalls and hand-pick the freshest local ingredients, guided by a renowned local chef who will meet you at the Green Market. From there, we’ll head to a unique cooking class where the true flavors of Dalmatia come to life.
In this interactive and hands-on experience, you’ll work alongside the chef to prepare a delightful 5-course lunch. With the chef’s expert guidance, you’ll create traditional Dalmatian dishes such as homemade bread, carpaccio, risotto, gregada (fish stew), fresh homemade pasta, and much more. The menu typically focuses on fresh Adriatic fish, shellfish, and shrimp, accompanied by local vegetables, fruits, and spices.
While seafood is the star of the show, the chef can customize the menu to suit your preferences, offering alternative fish dishes or even incorporating meat options if you wish. Throughout the class, you’ll gain valuable insights into local cooking techniques, seasonal ingredients, and the rich culinary heritage of Dalmatia.
